Low Ground Compaction

Due to the Power Krawler's larger rear footprint, the weight of the tractor is dispersed more evenly, offering better floatation, less compaction and less damage to soil. The rear crawler exerts a mere 4.12 psi of ground pressure, roughly 60% less than a typical tractor wheel.

Superior Traction and Climbing Force

The Power Krawler's distinctive crawler design places the oscillation point below the drive sprocket and directly in the path of the driving force, thus ensuring greater traction, better stability and more surefooted climbing. Additionally, the Power Krawler's left and right crawlers oscillate independently. This means that both tracks can flexibly traverse bumpy surfaces, keeping both sides of the tractor in contact with the ground at all times.

Speed and Travel Performance

Unlike the steel lugs used in full crawler tracks, the synthetic rubber track of the Power Krawler features hard rubber lugs to help propel the drive sprockets of the crawler, giving you a smoother ride and higher top speeds. Also, because the Power Krawler is equipped with Bi-speed, it offers a turning radius equal to conventional four-wheel tractors.

Construction compacte et étroite

Kubota has engineered the M8540 Power Krawler specifically for those who work in vineyards, orchards or anywhere else that might require a narrow or compact tractor with M-Series power. It features an overall height of only 92.1” and a width of just 54.0”. The fenders have been rounded and standard, foldable hazard lights are included.
