With its 9-foot cutterbar width, it cuts a big path and makes fast work of mowing jobs around the farmyard or in the field. Its offset wheels provide smooth tracking in any field conditions.
LOURD-DUTY, DEPENDABLE CONSTRUCTION
Haut-strength carbon steel guards are forged and heat-treated for extra strength and long life. A spring steel swath divider increases durability and service life, and a spring-loaded break-away latch protects the cutterbar if it hits an obstruction. It automatically relatches when the tractor backs up.
SMOOTH, FAST CUTTING
You'll appreciate the smooth cutting and reduced vibration from the high-speed Pitmanless sickle drive. It also helps to reduce component wear. The Model 456 can be equipped with a hydraulic lift cylinder for raising the cutterbar for a turn.
