Separate left- and right-hand axle members oscillate independently on adjustable, pressurized air suspension bags, providing an exceptional ride. The spacious H8000 Series cab includes plenty of storage, lots of legroom and the added comfort of built-in footrests. The tinted, curved-glass windshield enhances your view of the header and provides an outstanding overall view.

AIR-RIDE SEAT PLUS A SPARE

 

Ride in comfort on the deluxe air-ride seat, which offers three-way adjustment, including lumbar support and ride dampening. A full-size instructor’s seat with seat belts is standard, as well, but folds away when not needed. The optional leather operator and instructional seat provides even more comfort. A three-way adjustable steering wheel telescopes and tilts at floor and knee levels, and the dual cab air filtration system cleans both fresh-air from outside and air recirculated within the cab.

CAB SUSPENSION OFFERS SMOOTH RIDE

 

Taking the bumps out of the ride, the unique Comfort Ride™ cab suspension cushions you from chassis motion. Four-point suspension includes iso-mounts on the front and coil springs over shocks at the rear. So you can take advantage of high-speed cutting without taking abuse from rough ground conditions.

IMPROVED CONTROL

 

The CommandGrip™ control handle is extremely comfortable to use and provides precise control of speed and direction. A dual-speed hydrostatic transmission provides expanded speed choices and infinitely variable speed control. Independent button controls allow for precise control of header and reel positioning. A convenient “resume” button puts your header back in the pre-set position for an easy back-to-cutting operation position.

INTELIIVIEW™ IV 10-INCH DISPLAY OPTION

 

The IntelliView™ IV color touchscreen display is now available as a factory-installed option. It is common with New Holland combines as well as T6, T7, T8 and T9 Series tractors, and provides more functions than the standard four-line display, giving you one place for all machine and operational information.

EZ-PILOT™ STEERING SYSTEM

 

This affordable, semi-integrated auto-guidance system helps reduce header overlap as well as operator fatigue, providing significant productivity advantages. Since self-propelled windrower steering is controlled using independent hydrostatic drive to the two front wheels, auto-guidance is more of a challenge. The high-performance EZ-Pilot system directly controls your New Holland windrower through its normal steering system and uses an FM-750™ or FM-1000™ monitor. It includes the latest T3™ terrain compensation technology built into the control module, providing you with better accuracy and reliability.

With the cutterbar's true modular design, each gear case has a dedicated oil reservoir, so even when cutting on slopes, there's never a problem with oil starvation to the upper side. CLEANER CUTTING WITH MOWMAX™

 

The MowMax™ cutterbar features lower–profile rock guards to allow closer cutting at a flatter angle. Large disc overlap ensures cleaner cutting, and counter-rotating discs are less prone to streaking. Standard knives have a 14–degree angle and cutting edge on both sides for twice the cutting life when flipped.

KNIVES THAT MATCH FIELD CONDITIONS

 

All disc mower and Discbine® models are available with a choice of four different knives to match the field conditions. Knives with standard 14–degree smooth edges, optional 14–degree serrated and seven-degree angles are available, as well as specially designed reversible rock knives that extend life when working in rocky fields. Serrated knives are ideal for sandy soils or abrasive conditions.

Ideal for high-capacity forage harvesting, the Speedrower® self propelled windrower’s dual-windrow merger lays two windrows side by side to increase forage crop volume. A convenient in-cab control adjusts the merger belt speed and the deflector position so you can lay the windrows exactly the way the forage harvester operator wants them.

LOW-RIDING MERGER CATCHES ALL THE CROP

 

When fully lowered, the merger rides only a few inches above the ground to pick up the entire crop. The robust merger design lets it float up and over obstructions, then automatically return to its original position, without having to manually readjust it.

EASY ON-OFF CONTROLS

 

Switching from one windrow to two is easy and can be done right from the cab simply by lowering or lifting the merger. When it’s not needed, the merger tucks up tight and out of the way under the windrower frame.

GREAT CLEARANCE, RELIABLE BELTS

 

Industry-leading clearance eliminates the chance of catching a windrow while crossing uneven terrain. The merger belt system was designed for reliability, as well. Belt speed and deflector position are adjusted from the cab, an endless belt takes the worry out of maintenance, and a V-guide on the inside of the belt ensures it will track evenly, no matter how heavy the load.

Known for producing thorough conditioning and fast drydown, New Holland chevron-design, intermeshing rubber rolls have a proven torsion-bar roll-pressure system that applies near-constant pressure across the wide 102-inch rolls. UNIQUE AUGER

 

The unique auger features flighting that tapers as it approaches the center of the head, with no auger paddles or paddle supports and no conditioning module.

The CommandGrip™ multi-function control handle makes it easy to adjust reel speed and draper speed to adapt to different crop conditions. In-cab hydraulic reel speed adjustment and draper speed adjustment are standard equipment. You can change knife angle using the hydraulic tilt cylinder.

Return to the preset cutting height after each pass with adjustable cut-height cylinders on each lift arm. A simple push of a button in the cab is all it takes. Also adjust the right- and left-hand cylinders separately to produce a stubble pattern that retains more windblown snow for valuable moisture.
